Why do gold listing go every where in the list? Would they be at the top with the others since they are paid for? That is what I don't understand from some proxy lists

Gold listings are simply highlighted rather than being given a set position

Yep,
Pretty much, they are random also so that the top half of the list isn't only red, green and yellow listings. |
